my work…

My work explores the reality of the body belonging to nature and the emotional experience of this truth.

I engage with intuition to find what sparks in the interplay between the conscious and subconscious, shuffling meaning and memories.

This practice places trust in transformation, making space for the contrasts that unfold in the tension between structure and chaos, the playful & the potent.

Abstracting the body’s processes, disability, and temporality allows me to delve into change and loss, deepening my awe for the miracle of being alive.

what brings me to my work…

Coming from the lens of an art educator of ten years, I believe every person is inherently creative.

Creativity is power and that power belongs to all of us.

As a White, Queer, and Disabled person, I believe my work of dismantling white supremacist systems of oppression begins with the work of cultivating personal permission to create. Through the process of creating and sharing my story, I recognize my own transformation, connection, and healing.

I harness my creative power through creative collaboration, community-building, dancing, and deep belly laughs.
